Catholic Review of: A Year With C. S. Lewis

     A Year with C.S. Lewis is probably the most fun book you will ever find.  First you will turn to the date that matches your birthday.  Then you will remember that crush you have and look at their birthday.  Finally after looking up everyone and their mothers birthday you'll decide to read the date that it is.  Still having fun and unable to put down the book you'll just randomly flip through different quotes for different days landing on several that will have a special meaning to you.  That's what makes this book the most fun book you'll ever find.  It keeps you entertained while providing good advice to daily situations. 

     The book, simply put, is a collection of different quotes from many of his classic works.  It is put in order by date, so every day of the year contains a new quote.  Since it's not in chapter order you will probably end up skipping around a little bit.  A Year with C.S. Lewis contains advice for everything such as how to find God all the way through how we must shine.  The reading level varies from day to day mostly depending on the book of his the quote comes from.  This amazing book is a good way to not only study the life of C.S. Lewis, but also to remind you of the other books he has written. 

     Like every C.S. Lewis book, everyone should own it and keep a copy in their library.  It's good to keep your mind centered on God and the quotes in this book will help you with that.  The book is a definite read if you are bored.  If you have something to do, reading this book is a good way to waste that time.  In other words, if you don't have this book you should probably get it rushed delivered.  Here is a link where you can find it.
