Evaluator CommentsReading Left to Tell has changed my life. Immaculee has spoken to the most intimate part of my heart showing me the beauty of forgiveness. Her amazing story has inspired me to look beyond the Starbucks on my corner street and to catch a glimpse of the lives of our brothers and sisters in Rwanda. If everyone were able to read Immaculee's account of what happened in Rwanda I think we might all behave differently in society. There would be a greater respect for man and an awareness that all too quickly hate can produce a holocaust. Left to Tell is a fast paced read that will move you to tears of sadness, disbelief and joy. Her love for the Lord is truly evident throughout her lifetime. She speaks with an honesty that allows the reader to identify with her as a striving Christian. Her faith is inspiring and her strength captivating. Throughout her story, Immaculee speaks of faith and forgiveness. She teaches all those who may read her story how to trust in the Lord with all your heart and find peace through the power of forgiveness. The horror of what man can do when he removes the love of Christ from his heart is evident in the tragedy of the Rwandan Genocide. A highly recommended read. You can purchase this book here.
